Size Matters. At 3.5 inches internal diameter, this intake tube flows significantly more CFM than the typical 3-inch aftermarket kit — and makes the factory 2.5-inch restrictive tract look like a straw. The straight-shot routing from the sealed heat shield to the turbo inlet minimizes bends, while the velocity-stack-style filter adapter smooths airflow entry and kills turbulence before the compressor wheel.
Sealed, Not Exposed. The laser-cut aluminum heat shield bolts to factory airbox mounting points and seals against the hood liner, creating an isolated cold-air chamber that draws exclusively from the OEM grille duct. Open-element intakes pull hot engine bay air at every stoplight. This one doesn't.
