BMW B48 cold air intake
The Setup. A laser-cut aluminum heat shield bolts directly to the factory mounting points, sealing the filter from engine bay heat while drawing cold air through the OEM duct. The high-flow cone filter replaces the stock flat panel, offering a dramatic increase in filtration surface area — lower intake restriction, quicker spool, and a crisp induction note the factory spent real money to suppress. Kit Contents: Laser-cut aluminum heat shield with edge seal High-flow reusable cone filter (oiled or dry, configurable) Multi-ply reinforced silicone intake tube, CNC mandrel-bent Stainless steel clamps, brackets, and all mounting hardware No Tune, No Lights. The factory DME adapts seamlessly — no check engine light, no remap required. Pure bolt-on airflow gains with the turbo response and intake sound to back them up.

Each mandrel is individually bent, the ends are laser cut and then they are ultrasonically cleaned to provide a ready to weld solution right out of the package.
