Objectives behind the design of Competition Resonated Test Pipes are simple; increase exhaust flow, enhance exhaust note, while minimize drone and rasp. It is not uncommon to develop drone and rasp while freeing up the exhaust flow of your Nissan/Infiniti. Although Competition Resonated Test Pipes will not guarantee a complete drone/rasp free set up, we can assure that the additional resonator in the test pipes will combat odd exhaust frequencies that cause drone/rasp.
The factory catalytic converter leaves a lot of power on the table with its smaller piping diameter and extremely dense core. While being a very simple and inexpensive bolt on, upgrading to aftermarket test pipes is a no-brainer. Competition 2.5” Resonated Test Pipes replace the factory catalytic converter and are designed purely for off-road performance. Using raw T-304 16 gauge stainless steel piping with T-304 stainless steel flanges.
