The difference between a downpipe that fits and a downpipe that should fit is in the fixtures. Every downpipe we build begins its life bolted to a real engine on a real chassis, not modeled in CAD and shipped untested. The turbo flange is CNC-machined flat to the exact bolt pattern of the turbine housing -- V-band, 3-bolt, 4-bolt, whatever your platform requires. The O2 sensor bungs are positioned in the exact location and angle of the factory sensors, not a close approximation that fouls the firewall or the steering shaft. The flex section is integrated at the point of maximum engine movement, absorbing rock and twist without transferring stress to the turbo or the catback. The catback adapter flange is machined to mate with the factory exhaust or your aftermarket system, whichever your customer is running downstream.

Material choice is the first decision you make with us. SS304 stainless steel for the majority of applications -- cost-effective, durable, takes a ceramic coating well for thermal management. Grade 1 titanium for high-end platforms where weight savings matters and a blue burnt heat patina is part of the value proposition. Wall thickness from 1.2 millimeters to 1.5 millimeters depending on diameter and application. Catless for maximum flow and competition use. High-flow 200-cell or 300-cell sports catalyst for street applications where emissions compliance matters and your customer does not want a check engine light.
Ceramic coating is not paint. Our in-house coating line applies a thermal barrier that keeps exhaust heat inside the pipe where it maintains gas velocity, instead of radiating into the engine bay where it raises intake temperatures and cooks nearby components. The coating is applied after welding and before packaging. It ships ready to install, not ready to send to a third-party coater.
