BMW has been putting turbocharged engines in every chassis they build for two decades, and every one of those engines left the factory with a downpipe designed for emissions compliance, not for flow. The N54 and N55 packed dense catalytic converters millimeters from the turbine outlet. The B58 and B48 carried that same design philosophy into the current generation. The S55, S58, S63, and S68 -- every M engine from the F80 to the G90 -- shipped with catalytic converters that choke flow and suppress the very exhaust note that defines an M car. Our downpipe catalog covers every one of these platforms because the problem is the same across all of them, and the solution is the same: remove the restriction, match the flange geometry exactly, and build the pipe from material that handles the heat.
Two material tracks. SS304 with ceramic coating for the volume tier -- cost-effective, thermally managed, available catless or with a 200-cell or 300-cell high-flow sports catalyst for street applications. Grade 1 titanium for the premium tier -- 45% lighter than stainless, blue burnt heat-treated finish, available catless for maximum flow and competition use. Same CNC flange machining. Same mandrel bending. Same argon back-purge TIG welding. Same fixture-checking on a real BMW chassis. Same quality control from the N20 to the S68.
The BMW downpipe market is crowded. The difference is in the fixtures. Every downpipe we prototype is bolted to a real BMW engine in a real BMW chassis. The turbo flange is CNC-machined to the exact V-band or bolt pattern of the turbine housing -- not a generic flange that sort of fits, not a CAD model that was never test-fitted. The O2 sensor bungs are welded at the factory angle in the factory position, clearing the firewall, the steering shaft, and the heat shielding that BMW engineers spent real money designing. The flex section sits at the point of maximum engine movement, absorbing rock and twist without transferring stress to the turbo or the catback. The catback adapter flange is machined to mate with the factory exhaust or your aftermarket system -- whichever your customer is running downstream.

B58 downpipes for the Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3 -- Supra A90, M240i, M340i, each with its own turbo outlet position and its own downpipe routing. S55 downpipes for the F80 M3 and F82 M4.
