Every titanium downpipe and test pipe is fabricated from Grade 1 commercially pure titanium, TIG welded under full argon back-purge at every seam. The internal welds are as clean as the external -- no sugaring, no flow disruption, no stress risers that will open into a crack after a season of track use. CNC-machined titanium flanges surfaced flat to the manifold or turbine housing bolt pattern of each specific platform. Mandrel-bent tubing, 1.2-millimeter wall for weight savings. O2 sensor bungs in the factory positions at the factory angles. Flex sections integrated at the point of maximum engine movement on GT-R applications. Fixture-checked on real Nissan chassis before a single unit ships.
