Built for Water, Not Just Air. A PWC intake does not get the luxury of a dry engine bay. Salt spray, humidity, and the occasional wave over the bow are non-negotiable realities. The included high-flow filter is engineered with a water-resistant synthetic media — it flows like a performance dry filter while shedding moisture and preventing water ingestion. An optional Outerwears pre-filter adds a second layer of protection for saltwater and heavy surf conditions.
Supercharged, So It Matters More. On a naturally aspirated engine, an intake is about sound and marginal flow. On a supercharged SVHO, intake restriction directly costs boost pressure. Lower restriction at the filter means the supercharger works less to achieve the same manifold pressure — more power at the same RPM, with lower parasitic loss. Expect sharper throttle response and a deeper, more aggressive supercharger whine that the factory airbox was designed to mute.
