Nissan 350z / Infiniti G35 Intake System
Short Ram, Sharp Response. Unlike a cold air intake that routes piping into the fender well, a short ram places the filter directly behind the MAF sensor in the engine bay. The result is the shortest possible intake tract — instant throttle response, zero lag, and a deep, aggressive induction bark every time you dip into the throttle. Installation is straightforward too: no bumper removal, no cutting, no relocating components.
What Changes. The factory airbox assembly — filter housing, resonator boxes, restrictive intake tubing — comes out entirely. In its place: a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, a high-flow reusable cone filter, and silicone couplers that isolate vibration while holding shape under vacuum. The filter offers dramatically more surface area than the OEM panel, so the engine pulls air with less effort from idle to the 6,600 rpm redline.

Each mandrel is individually bent, the ends are laser cut and then they are ultrasonically cleaned to provide a ready to weld solution right out of the package.
