If you own a late model 6.7 Powerstroke, its likely you've either heard about the issues with the factory cold side intercooler pipe, or experienced it yourself. And if you haven't, long story short, they're known to burst in half, even on stock horsepower level trucks, and the problem only gets worse the more boost you're throwing at it. Now, why is this a problem? Easy, if any part of your intercooler system cannot develop boost due to even the smallest of cracks or holes, it can't build air pressure to shove into the engine, and without that air, your engine will barely move under its own power, or lack thereof. Unfortunately, the factory piece from Ford was built with inferior materials, but the good news is that S&B has your back with this direct replacement, two piece unit made from heavy duty aluminum and 5-ply silicone.
- Premium 6061 Aluminum Mandrel-Bent Tubing 3.5-inch enlarged smooth inner bore eliminates restrictive stock bends, boosting cold-side airflow by 47% vs OEM. Mandrel forming keeps round pipe cross-section with zero wrinkling to reduce turbo lag and lower EGT during full-load towing. Available in polished silver, red, green or black coated finishes.
- Heavy-Duty Reinforced Silicone Couplers 5-ply aramid fiber reinforced silicone boots with fluorocarbon inner lining withstand high heat and sustained boost pressure up to 100PSI, resisting oil mist degradation that ruins stock rubber hoses.
- Fix Common Factory Failure Points Original plastic intercooler pipes crack, split and leak boost under heat and heavy load, triggering power derate. Our all-metal aluminum construction eliminates this chronic breakdown risk for daily work and long-distance towing.
- OEM Direct Bolt-On Fitment 3D scanned factory pipe geometry retains all sensor ports, quick-disconnect flanges and mounting brackets. Complete kit includes stainless steel constant-tension T-bolt clamps, gaskets and O-rings for tool-free installation without tuning or vehicle modification.

Titanium 90° Mandrel Bends have a 1.2mm wall thickness. Bent from our 1.2mm thin wall commercially pure Grade 1 Titanium you won’t find a lighter and higher quality bend on the market. Each mandrel is individually bent, the ends are laser cut and then they are ultrasonically cleaned to provide a ready to weld solution right out of the package.
